The primary function of the German Township Road Maintenance Department is routine road care, including maintenance, repair and snow removal of township roads.
    Road maintenance will also pick up residential brush.
    Most residents know the employees of the Road Maintenance Department as the individuals who brave the weather to remove ice and snow off neighborhood roads and streets. Streets are cleared on a priority basis and our drivers have a reputation for their fast and efficient service.
    The Township’s Street Paving and Repair Program strives for quality management of all township streets/roads through a rating system using detailed statistical analysis. Seasonal time restraints, budget and workload determine the number of streets to be completed annually.
